Designed with improved bike cradles and buckle-type straps, the rack firmly secures and transports the bikes, ensuring their stability during travel. The all-steel hitch adapter offers enhanced durability and allows the rack to be installed on 1-1/4" or 2" hitch receivers, ensuring broad compatibility.
The built-in locking knob keeps the main upright sturdy, reducing wobble and enhancing the overall stability of the bike rack during transport. This versatile hitch rack is compatible with Class I, II, III, and IV hitches, making it suitable for a wide range of vehicle types.
To ensure safe and reliable bike transportation, the rack supports a maximum capacity of 100 lbs, with a limit of 50 lbs per bike. The improved rubber bike cradles and buckle-type straps provide a secure grip on the bikes, keeping them stable during travel.
Please note that the pad color may slightly differ, offering a variation in appearance. Additionally, the 50025 Bike Rack is designed for bikes with a horizontal top bar frame. For different style bike frames, the addition or installation of a horizontal crossbar may be necessary (not included).
It is important to note that using bike racks and cargo carriers on trailers or RVs is not advisable due to the increased distance between the rear bumper and the axle. Bikes mounted on RVs, trailers, or fifth-wheels may experience increased bouncing, swaying, and stress. Always use tie downs and straps during transport for added safety.
